golf

over this couple of days, i've been playing lots of golf.. in fact just finished playing at kota permai and i can say, boy this course is really a memorable one... you might just wonder why i said that since my home course is saujana, u noe la.. saujana ppl will say that they are still the best in msia.. i don't disagree.. but after laying off for quite a while, and also having played at tropicana golf and country club just 3-4 days back, i would say that kota permai is giving saujana a real fight...

to start off with, a par golf magazine poll once voted kota permai as the most memorable course.. hell yeah! i agree.. i can remember the details of the holes that i played.. i can't remember any tropicana holes to begin with.. all i remembered was the weather on that day when i took on 18 holes at tropicana was FANTASTIC.. other than that my caddie got a while in deciding what club for me to use as i am such a big hitter i overshot greens with her selection of iron choices... yeah.. tropicana uses indo caddies.. and i got a female caddie.. gosh! after about 2-3 holes, she was writing down some notes on my iron shots and then she gave advice on the slopes around the greens.. i would say service is 1st class.. but the course? errrr....... i think after playing at kota permai, i would say kota permai wins hands down..

not that tropicana isn't giving a good fight, but kota permai grass were just wonderful and marshalls were all over the course and at one time i forgot to replace the sand in the divot that i took i kana warning and went back to replace the sand... i mean.. come on la bro... it's just one heck of a divot.. but to my surprise, all the divots taken on the fairway were filled with sand.. and i realised that the drainage system of kota permai is just so good it was dry even after a downpour in the afternoon.. and the fairway is so well maintained.. darn.. today i am just happy playing at kota permai...

anyway tropicana was ok.. besides close to having a heat stroke at the beginning 4 holes, where the sun isn't blocked out by the clouds, the rest of the game were played in very shady conditions.. good relaxing game.. that's the beauty of playing during public holidays and working days.. and i'm just wanting to try a game under the floodlights when playing at night in kota permai.. i haven't played any night golf before and would like to try that out...

i haven't played at saujana too for ages.. so playing at other 4/5 star courses of course brings back remnisence of your own home club.. but much has changed in saujana apparently.. fairways lengthened, greens making faster than before (already fast la, want to make faster, think rollercoaster ar?) and also bunkers which are deep enough to swallow you in.. you see the diff is that i don't mind catching bunkers in tropicana or kota permai, which i visited alot due to inacurate iron play when approaching the greens.. but you can easily pick the bunker shots off kota permai and tropicana.. but wait till you get swallowed in bunkers in saujana.. my record of bunker escape? (a WHOPPING 7 STROKES) just to get out of that silly bunker in the palm course of saujana.. mulligan that hole! haha..

so what's up for the next couple of days plan? my car broke down. haih.. can't start.. hopefully that tmw the service centre is open.. have to service lor the car.. haih.. holiday come and breakdown.. anyway what can i do, i dont decide the car to break down wan ler.. i think this one is quite a big prob liao.. hopefully it can be repaired! haih.. sadness...

BUT BUT BUT.. today hearing the sound of my 6 iron that got onto the green approaching at 175 metres away and hearing that sweet spot sound with the lovely pure contact of iron to the ball leaves my heart melting away.. it's like ecstasy.. man.. i wanna go back and tackle another round of kota permai! haha.. it's just good la.. like seriously no joke good..=)

ok la.. that's all about golf.. i need to sleep early for tmw servicing car.. it's been a long day today... but a rather enjoyable one.. waiting for the next game to begin...=P which i don't noe when thou...

day 2

haha....

i'm sittin on my bed with my cousin's mini laptop, the ones that dont' have the dvd player wan and just chilling out in my 'hotel room' yeah.. really... my room here looks like a hotel room.. it's super cool at k residence.. ahhaa... and yeah.. blogging...

i just got back from pavillion after dinner.. went to ministry of food at pavillion for some rm 15 ice cream.. crap.. i'm so fat.... but then lets see what i did for the day..

last nite i slept at 3am actually.. after bathing i went back out and watched the us open tennis.. and saw prob one of the best gripping matches of all times.. it was dementieva vs melissa oudin.. man.. dementieva is a 4th seed and oudin is unseeded 17 year old only.. and oudin won playing with an injured thigh.. haih.. i cried watching the match man... cuz at one point, oudin was like choking back her tears because she was injured and stuff, and she was holding serve so she strained her thigh a little and she was holding back her tears, and the crowd was just silent.. but roared to such intensity tthat prob she will remember this match for live..

then sleeping only at 3am, this morning i woke up at 10.30.. had some muffin and a cup of coffee while taking in the morning wind of kl at the 16th floor of k residence.. and yeah.. surprisingly traffic is CLEAR!!! ahaha.. we went to ah yatt restaurant for lunch,.. ate dim sum, some black pepper beef, and clams and abalone.. then it was back to the apartment to chill out.. played call of duty :modern warfare.. ahaha... it's super cool cuz it's like on a 27" dell flat monitor and altec lansing home theater sound system.. even you snipe rite, the sound just richochet across the room.... boy.. i just love it! ahaha...

so went to isetan to do some shopping for grocery.. cooking mee siam for tea and bought some slices of freshly baked honey ham for supper.. darn.. buying food even before the time to eat.. ahaha.. so went back and watched the replay of jankovic and the roddick's match.. then went to 5th floor to use the gym.. and what can i say?

THE GYM IS EFFFINNG SUPERSTAR CLASS..

i started with cardio alrite, and the treadmill is a touch screen! man.. i went to california fitness and i've never seen such a high tech treadmill.. and on the screen is a button to press for fan, meaning the treadmill has a build in fan to blow at your face when you press that button.. how cool! especially when you wanna cool down.. ahha.. and the tv is on the screen where you adjust speed/adjust the gradient... super cool.. and after a good workout of quads and my back muscles, it's the pool time.. where the pool view ends at klcc.. like the pool that ends to the sea kinda view, yeah.. it's something lidat.. ends to the view of klcc... shit.. this is good...

so after a good workout, and then a shower, dinner is rendang chicken, siew yok, a huge chunk of salmon, unagi, brocolli and tofu... this is dinner man for me, cousin, uncle, aunt, and another aunt who dropped by too.. this is humongus dinner.. and now it's 9.50pm and already i'm gonna make my sandwich of honey glazed ham and some lettuce.. ahaha.. this is superb.. food non stop.. hehe..

ok ler... feels wierd still to blog everyday since i haven't been blogging for a year plus.. guess this is my revival of the blog.. ahaha.. but i don't think anyone knows of the revival of my blog still.. ahaha.. but nvm.. it's a good thing to write events out like a diary..

so it's back to call of duty and coffee and ham sandwich..=P this beats o brien's sandwich hands down...=)

don't say goodbye

this was the song that my sis first said was the hit of dbsk.. i'm in love with dbsk actually.. and this is the song that will always be played when i'm in for a ballad.

sadly though that the house is empty when you are not around.. just like when the fights of who gets the bigger part of the chicken or who gets to use the toilet first when we get home.. the idioticity of our fights just amuses our neighbours as well.. and the best part is we fight to see who gets to feed brownie...

omggwtf-to-the-power-of-infinity!!!

now that i have the toilet all to myself, i still use dad's toilet.. he scolded me last nite cuz apparently i make a mess out of his toilet.. that the floors are always stained white (due to the soap and the toothpaste) and there are shaving cream stains on the sink.. come on man don't you noe how to use your own toilet? i'm like ok whatever since coming from someone who is in hurry to go to work...

and then there's always a fish now in our every meal since you hate them so much.. there is no more chicken cuz mum says that chicken sucks... and that i have to eat whatever that's balance from the lunch meal since that you are not at home to usually do the bandaraya cleanup of the fridge balanced food...

aunty saro and aunty lim keeps coming over and giving cakes, food thinking that mum is busy with teaching and no time to cook and making me fat... i'm still waiting for the curry chicken that she cooks when i'm back.. now that i'm back for 2 weeks and still no curry chicken so i wonder actually was the chicken meant for you or for me... wtf...=P

ok la... now that i check the bloody bag its only a dunlop racket inside.. the tecnifibre is gone.. perhaps it's time to get another dunlop... i just wonder how much of junk that you keep in your room that when i entered with mum to pack things up to fly over, the tnt box that we dump ur stuff into is filled with nothing but crap to me... don't be a rubbish collector like mum or it's just in our genes too...

ok sorry for all the rant but man the house is quiet... quiet with just my noise of anti-you-know-who but it's just talking to myself now... dad doesn't entertain my talks and mum is into her own tv shows.. i just end up laughing to myself and talking to myself.. ahaha... anyway, out of boredom i played call of duty the 7th time and i have completed all the levels and even not dying at all at all the stages... speaking of true boredom..

but anyway on the lighter note, you are in WHARTON.. god.. i have to tip my cap for that... and at least u got your elmo and a very big room in morris hall.. not bad for starters...

oh well so what i have been doing? it's just eating, packing to stay at avenue k for a couple of days.. searching for good fares to koh samui/bangkok/china.. this time gerald is coming along too.. so yeah.. if can't go redang, we'll go koh samui... or bangkok... dad says 'who's paying for you?' my reply is the person who is asking it! ahaha..

so well, plans for the next couple of days are shopping at klcc with sharine, and prob eating at chakri's palace which is my fav... and then having loads of chill out time at the pool and hanging out with uncle geh.. and drinking coffee while taking in klcc lights just 500m away from me.. i love K RESIDENCE!

till here then...

see you later.
